A delegation from the Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC) has been in London, United Kingdom, since 2 November 2022, to take part in the 106th session of the International Maritime Organisation’s (IMO) Maritime Safety Committee.
The delegation which is led by CNSC's General Manager, Mr. Auguste Mbappe Penda, comprises three key CNSC staff. The session is convened to find ways of improving safety and security in maritime transport. By way of reminder, 95% of global trade in goods is transported by sea, hence the need to guarantee their safety.
