As a follow-up to the series of activities organised to mark the celebration of the 138th International Labour Day, staff of the Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC) took part in an awareness-raising seminar.
The seminar took place on 26 April 2024 at the CNSC head office, and the main themes were "The transmission and prevention of infectious diseases", delivered by an occupational physician Dr. Armand Kalefack, and "Hygiene and sanitation measures at the workplace", presented by Mr. Georges Ze Meke, Head of the CNSC Human Resources Service.
The fifty or so participants present were able to gain more knowledge on the prevention of transmissible diseases and the applicable regulations in the event of non-compliance with hygiene measures at the workplace.
The enriching experience was warmly applauded by the CNSC employees who all expressed the wish to see such initiatives replicated in the months ahead.
