The National Ports Authority pays a working visit to the CNSC

On 21 October 2021 Mr. Auguste Mbappe Penda, CNSC General Manager, received Dr. Louis Eboupeke, Director General of the National Port Authority (APN) in Douala.

APN's Director General accompanied by his Deputy, Mrs Pamela Ayuk Etah and his main collaborators were welcomed at the main entrance into CNSC's head office at the Centre des Affaires Maritimes in Douala.

This “fraternal visit”, as described by Mr. Auguste Mbappe Penda, CNSC's General Manager, was an opportunity to showcase the institution’s achievements. Taking the floor, CNSC's technical directors took turns in throwing some light on the numerous activities undertaken by the CNSC to enable business persons clear their goods in record time.

In his speech, Dr. Louis Eboupeke, Director General of the National Ports Authority, did not fail to underline that "The CNSC, through its active participation in the Port Price Stabilisation Committee, has consistently assisted the National Ports Authority in monitoring port costs".

A family photograph was taken after CNSC's GM presented gifts to the visiting Director General and his Deputy. This marked the end of the working session between both institutions. The entire delegation then visited the Douala Maritime Museum where they discovered the rich cultural and maritime heritage in store there.
