The General Manager of the Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC) hereby informs shippers, ship owners, freight forwarders and other business persons that many companies are claiming that they are empowered to act on behalf of the CNSC for the issuance of the Electronic Cargo Tracking Note (ECTN) at different ports loading goods bound for Cameroon.
Consequently, shippers and other business persons are hereby advised to be more vigilant and to use the appropriate channels to obtain their ECTNs.
As a reminder, ECTNs for imported goods must be obtained from CNSC agents at the port of loading no later than 48 hours before the arrival of the vessel. The complete list and addresses of these agents can be found below.
The General Manager of the CNSC therefore counts on your support to stop such fraudsters. Should you require additional information, please contact any of our agents namely AFRICA CTN, Beacon & South Atlantic Agency.
