A delegation of the Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC) has been on a benchmarking mission in Istanbul, Turkey, since yesterday, 11 May 2023. The delegation included Mmes. Angèle Dooh Ebelle Moudissa, Abdoulaye Oumoul Mammadou and Mr. Hiack Nkono Raphaël. The mission was recommended and facilitated by the Ambassador of Cameroon in Turkey, H.E. Victor Tchatchouwo.
Amongst other objectives, the delegation seeks to meet with Turkish shippers and exporters for experience sharing. Another meeting has been scheduled with Turkish investors with a view to helping Cameroonian SMEs in their activities, notably in the exportation of products Made in Cameroon. In that regard, the delegation shall seek information on importation standards and regulations in Turkey and this information will be shared with Cameroonian shippers interested in accessing Turkish markets. The ultimate goal is to improve the competitiveness of Cameroonian products in sub-regional and international markets.
