On 17 February 2026, Mr. Auguste Mbappe Penda was received by the traditional and administrative authorities of the locality, represented by HRH Mahamat Abba, Sultan of Kousseri and Mr. Fombele Mathias, Senior Divisional Officer for Logone and Chari.
