SHIPPERS' COUNCIL

The ceremony to launch the seminar to raise the awareness of business persons on the business opportunities offered by the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council (CWEIC) took place today at the training hall of the Cameroon National Shippers' Council.

 

Mr. Auguste Mbappe Penda, CNSC General Manager and Vice-Chair of the MINREX-CNSC Platform solemnly opened the proceedings in the presence of several public administrations and economic actors. He invited all SMEs to attend the Commonwealth Business Forum holding in Kigali, Rwanda, from 22 to 24 June 2022, as it is not only the biggest event in the Commonwealth, but also offers very interesting business opportunities for entrepreneurs. It is on this note that he declared the start of the working session.

 

This first day focused on presenting the MINREX-CNSC platform, highlighting government's action in promoting the Cameroon-Commonwealth trade, and finally to highlight the key role that GICAM plays in Cameroon's economic development.
