CAMEROON NATIONAL
SHIPPERS' COUNCIL

The new Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Shippers' Council, Mr. Akutah Pius Ukeyima, paid a visit to the Douala Maritime Museum today, 6 December 2023.

This visit, during which he was accompanied by his closest collaborators, was an opportunity for him to further acquaint himself with Cameroon's rich maritime history and its realities.

The delegation from the Nigerian Shippers' Council was delighted to discover the Sawa culture and numerous objects and artifacts from the colonial era and from the coast of Cameroon, a neighbouring country to Nigeria. Their experience on the maritime navigation simulator was an opportunity for them to learn more about the functionality of this didactic and fascinating navigation tool.

At the end of the visit, the CEO of the Nigerian Shippers' Council expressed his satisfaction by jotting down a few words in the guestbook of the Douala Maritime Museum.
