SHIPPERS' COUNCIL

Today, 24 July 2023, the Ebibeyin Conference Centre in Equatorial Guinea was the host venue for the events marking the 14th edition of FOTRAC. Participants from Kye-Ossi in Cameroon took part in a series of activities.

 

The Port Authority of Douala, Cameroon Customs, Port Synthèse and the Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC) led the workshop on "The role of Africa's ports and national shippers' councils in facilitating trade in Africa".

 

During the workshop, Mr. Kassala Hamidou, Head of the Trade Facilitation Service, enlightened participants about the CNSC's policy for the construction of facilitation infrastructures, launched in 2009.

 

Participants from Cameroon, Gabon, Central African Republic, Senegal, Chad and the Democratic Republic of Congo took advantage of the trip to exhibit and market their products on the esplanade of the Ebibeyin Conference Centre.
