Staff of the Cameroon National Shippers‘ Council (CNSC) took part in the last of the activities marking Workers’ Week on 30 April 2025, prior to the celebration of the 139th edition of International Labour Day.
Activities for the day included raising staff awareness about hygiene, health and safety measures in the workplace. The session was led by Dr. Mang Anselme, a medical doctor and specialist in occupational health and safety.
The discussions enabled staff to learn about the roles of employees and employers, as well as the importance of an occupational physician.
To round off the day, CNSC staff gathered at the Douala Maritime Museum for the screening of a movie titled ‘The Pursuit of Happyness’, which tells the story of a man who, in the face of great adversity, never gave up on his dreams, hence underscoring the importance of perseverance.
