In the build-up to the celebration of this year’s International Labour Day celebrated under the theme “Social Dialogue Decent Work: Factors of Peace, National Cohesion and Economic Development of the Company”, staff representatives of the Cameroon National Shippers’ Council (CNSC) organised a workshop to raise awareness among staff on Monday, 27 April 2026. The facilitator of the day was Mr. Luc Thierry Ebolo, Labour Inspector at the Ministry of Labour and Social Security.
The workshop offered CNSC staff in attendance the opportunity to better understand the importance of dialogue and social security in the life of a company. “This year’s theme aims to highlight the contribution of these two concepts as levers for social stability, national cohesion and improvement of the economic performance of the company”, Mr. Luc Thierry Ebolo stated in his presentation.
The awareness-raising workshop and the fitness walk organised on 25 April 2026, are amongst the many activities organised at the CNSC to mark this year’s Labour Day to be celebrated on Friday, 1 May 2026.
