The programme of activities at the 13th edition of the Annual Central African Cross-Border Trade Fair, FOTRAC-2022, prioritised the holding of conferences which mainly focused on cross-border trade within the context of the AFCFTA.

Today, 1 August 2022, many public and private institutions present at the Kye-Ossi event actively took part in the panel discussions on AFCFTA through awareness raising and information sharing campaigns. Members of the panel included MINCOMMERCE, MINEPAT, PAD, the Cameroon National Shippers Council (CNSC) and AB Certification.

It is in this light that Mrs. Angele Moudissa, Sub-Director of Trade Facilitation at the CNSC, delivered a presentation on "The Contributions of the Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC) for a more effective appropriation of the AfCFTA by business persons".

The presentation was an opportunity for the public to learn about the main activities regularly carried out by the CNSC to promote the implementation of the AFCFTA in Cameroon. Some of which include trainings, sensitisation and information sharing campaigns, as well as the construction of trade facilitation infrastructures.
