The District Officer for Garoua I, Mr. Ismailou Adama, received Mrs. Claire Onana Takouchop, Director of Shippers' Assistance at the Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC), and her delegation from Douala for an awareness-raising seminar to be held on 17 May at Shalom Hotel in Garoua.
In the course of their discussions, the District Officer was delighted to note the attention paid by the CNSC to shippers and traders in the northern part of Cameroon, and the choice of his administrative jurisdiction to host this event which is of great importance for Cameroon's economy.
Mr. Ismailou Adama, while expressing his support for the event, confirmed his presence at the seminar which will bring together various stakeholders of cross-border trade in the northern regions of Cameroon.
