SHIPPERS' COUNCIL

A photo exhibition dubbed "Soul Makossa Man"- Manu Dibango will be held at the Douala Maritime Museum from 20 November to 20 December 2024.

 

This exhibition, a retrospect of the life and achievements of the internationally acclaimed saxophonist Manu Dibango, is organised by a Cameroonian journalist and photographer Mr. Samuel Nja Kwa, in collaboration with the Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC), promoter of the Douala Maritime Museum. Throughout this period, various literary and artistic activities will be organised to pay a vibrant tribute to this international icon of our music and worthy ambassador of Cameroon.

 

The dual ceremony comprising the launch of the exhibition and the ‘Soul Makossa Man’ book signing event will hold on 20 November 2024 at the Douala Maritime Museum, as from 5:00 p.m. prompt.
