World Customs Organisation rewards the CNSC

The Cameroon National Shippers' Council was awarded the World Customs Organisation's Certificate of Merit this 26 January 2024. The certificate was personally presented to Mr. Auguste Mbappe Penda, CNSC’s General Manager, by Mrs. Minette Libom Li Liken, Cameroon's Minister of Posts and Telecommunications. This was during the official ceremony marking the celebration of International Customs Day at the Yaoundé 101 Military Air Base.

Chaired by Finance Minister Louis Paul Motaze, the event focused on the mobilisation of the various partners of the Customs department around clear objectives, inviting the CNSC and other partners to work towards achieving the objectives set this year by the Ministry of Finance.

The International Customs Day celebration was also an opportunity to encourage deserving customs officers through the award of certificates and epaulettes. The ceremony was crowned by a visit to the stands of the different partners of the Customs department.

Minister Louis Paul Motaze was received at the CNSC’s stand by the General Manager, Mr. Auguste Mbappe Penda, who presented the CNSC's achievements and ongoing projects to the Statesman.
