The open-door days organised by the Directorate General of Customs (DGD) to mark the celebration of International Customs Day started today, 25 January, on the esplanade of the Yaoundé 101 Air Force Base.
The Cameroon National Shippers' Council is taking part as an exhibitor and partner of the Cameroon Customs Department. Its 25m2 stand set up for the occasion, welcomed many visitors, including Mr. Fongod Edwin Nuvaga, Director General of Customs, and Mr. Isidore Biyiha, Director General of the Single Window for Foreign Trade Operations (Guce).
Both General Managers and their retinue were received at the CNSC stand by Mr. Theodore Roger Dippah Kayesse, Head of CNSC's Public Relations Unit, on behalf of CNSC's General Manager.
These visitors were given a brief presentation on the latest developments at the CNSC. The CNSC official also made mention of the Memorandum of Understanding on the sharing of information and statistical data on Cameroon's foreign trade, signed between both State institutions in August 2022.
