On 12 and 13 September 2024, female professionals of the port and maritime sectors in Cameroon (RFPMP-CAM) met in Kribi to re-launch the association’s activities. This meeting was graced by the presence of the Littoral Governor's wife, Mrs. Rosette Ivaha Diboua.

Participants flocked-in from the Port Authority of Douala, the Cameroon Customs Department, the Port Authority of Kribi and the Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC), represented by Mrs. Ndomkeu Solange, Head of the Foreign Trade Procedures Monitoring Service;  Mrs. Mbassi Gaëlle, Service Head for Legal Affairs; and Mrs. Nkama Stella, Service Head for Public Relations.

The relaunch of RFPMP's activities being discussed in Kribi comes at the initiative and under the coordination of Mrs. Nicole Nesse, Consultant and Sworn Maritime and Port Expert.

This meeting focused on identifying the various actions to be taken in order to put the association back on track. This included the organisation of a conference on the central theme “The impact of digitalisation on port competitiveness”.

The second part of the meeting was a visit to the Port Authority of Kribi. It was with great enthusiasm that PAK's marine firefighters presented the Port's infrastructure to the ladies who were chanced to witness the arrival of four new gantry cranes at the Kribi port
