The newly appointed General Manager of the Chadian Shippers' Council (COC-TCHAD), Mr. Hamid Djoumino, was received in audience on Friday 8 March 2024 by Mr. Auguste Mbappe Penda, General Manager of the Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC).
The purpose of the visit was to discuss the CNSC's experience in the field of transport observatory and trade facilitation on the one hand, and on the other, to strengthen the existing collaboration between the two Shippers' Councils.
Mr. Hamid Djouminou and his delegation learned more about the trucker accommodation centres erected along the road corridors by the CNSC, and also about the establishment of the Land and Air ECTNs in Cameroon.
Senior executives of the CNSC present at the meeting, notably Mr. Etienne Cham Bama, Technical Adviser No. 1; Mr. Fernand Nolga, Director of Trade Facilitation and Transport Observatory; and Mr. Elvis TSAGUIM, Director of Operations and Projects, took turns in sharing the CNSC's experience in implementing logistic solutions aimed at reducing transit times for goods using the road corridors leading to Chad and the Central African Republic.

The COC-Chad delegation, which had already visited the CNSC Kousseri Logistics Base inaugurated in September 2023, expressed its gratitude for the warm welcome they have always been accorded by the Cameroon National Shippers' Council.
