The ceremony for the presentation of New Year wishes to the General Manager of the Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC), Mr. Auguste Mbappe Penda, was held on Friday 9 February 2024.
The event, which took place at the CNSC head office building in Douala, had as special guests Mr. Abdourahamane Abba Kafougou, Secretary General of the Union of African Shippers' Councils (UASC), as well as representatives of the Central African, Congolese and Chadian Shippers' Councils based in Douala.
Speaking on behalf of the entire staff, Mr. Pierre Madjo Ma Madjo, CNSC Director of Administration and Finance, presented a positive report on the company's management in 2023, and seized the occasion to announce a number of prospects for 2024.
Mr. Auguste Mbappe Penda, in his key note address, praised the entire staff for their performance in 2023. Some retired staff, notably Mrs. Ernestine Essombe Koffi Black and Mr. Daniel Ndong, were honoured and received a token of recognition for their service to the company. They were both presented as role models for their loyalty and commitment to their work.
It was in unison that the entire staff presented their best wishes for the year 2024 to CNSC’s General Manager. The very entertaining ceremony was livened by performances from some prominent artists, singers and comedians.
