Yesterday, 11 March 2023, marked the start of the PMEXCHANGE Exhibition Fair at the SAWA Hotel in Douala. The official opening ceremony was presided over by Mrs. Mireille Menanga, Technical Adviser No. 1 at the Ministry of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, Social Economy and Handicrafts (MINPMEESA) and attended by several guests, entrepreneurs and start-ups.
This year's edition focuses on "The contribution of SMEs to the structural transformation of Cameroon's economy through the value chain approach". Several themes have been retained for discussions with a view to reviving a successful sustainable economy in Cameroon. Two priority levers for the attainment of these objectives are the promotion of the "Made in Cameroon" brand and the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
Well aware of the stakes of such a platform and given its key missions, the Cameroon National Shippers' Council has set up an exhibition stand. Alongside many other companies, the CNSC will use the occasion to inform participants about its missions, achievements and projects, all in the interest of SMEs, until 15 March 2023.
