CAMEROON NATIONAL
SHIPPERS' COUNCIL

On 22  June 22, 2021, Mr. Younouss Soungui, Deputy General Manager of the Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC, on behalf of the CNSC General Manager Mr. Auguste Mbappe Penda received in audience a visiting  delegation from 'Rencontres Business Cameroun' (RBC) led by Mr. Désire Makan II, General Manager of Africa Business Solutions.

Taking the floor, Mr. Younouss Soungui, flanked by his main collaborators, briefed the visiting delegation on CNSC missions and achievements.

Mr. Désire Makan II, General Manager of Africa Business Solutions, presented the RBC concept: “Les Rencontres Business Cameroun (RBC). RBC is a platform working to promote “Made in Cameroon”, entrepreneurs in Cameroon’s ten regions as part of the decentralisation process. It also seeks to support councils within the framework of the identification of technical and financial partners. It is equally a meaningful way of integrating issues related to investment and export in the African Continental Free Trade Areas (AfCFTA), as well as internationally, "he said.

After discussions, it stood out that the forum proposed by RBC could receive technical assistance from the CNSC in terms of training, particularly further educating businesses on foreign trade procedures.

RBC also seems to be an opportunity to educate as many businesses as possible on the issues and challenges to AfCFTA's implementation.
