The General Manager of the Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC) hereby informs shippers, Licensed Customs Brokers, freight forwarders, shipowners and other business persons that the enforcement date for the compulsory establishment of Electronic Cargo Tracking Notes (ECTN) for goods in transit has been postponed to Wednesday, 1 April 2026.
This change of date will give various stakeholders ample time to finalize the organizational adjustments required for the smooth and optimal implementation of this measure. Moreover, users are reminded that the establishment of ECTNs is free of charge for transit cargo and are encouraged to report any attempts by third parties to charge for this service.
The General Manager counts on the usual collaboration of business persons and invites them to contact the following CNSC officials for additional information:
- Mrs. NTJAM Ngo Ndenga Christine Flore, Head of the Information Systems Division, Email: f.ndenga@cncc-cm.org, Tel: 670 138 728;
