CAMEROON NATIONAL
SHIPPERS' COUNCIL

The training workshop organised by the Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC) on 17 December 2024 in Douala mainly focused on "How to access funding for exports". Some sixty SME promoters specialising in agriculture and the manufacture of “Made in Cameroon” products were informed about the facilities offered by organisations to promote Cameroon's foreign trade.

Mrs Nadia Yegue, CCA Bank's Regional Manager for the Littoral region, presented the bank's financing solutions for female exporters, such as the CCA Women Banking program.  Ecobank Cameroon, via its Senior Group Manager, Mr. Hamadou Boubakari, outlined the conditions for bank loans and the facilities offered by the “ellevate by ecobank” product designed to promote female entrepreneurship.

A practical case in point was Mrs. Manuela Essomba Njankouo, CEO and Founder of the SME Cuisine de Nounou, who has benefited from various forms of financial support since she set up her business in 2018.

This workshop, coordinated by CNSC's Director for Shippers' Assistance, Mrs Claire Onana Takouchop, was marked by interactive discussions and the sharing of experiences.
