SHIPPERS' COUNCIL

Today, 4 December 2023, was installation day at the CNSC.

 

Staff representatives elected on 1 November and members of the Occupational Health and Safety Committee (CSHST) were officially installed in office today 4 December 2023 by the General Manager of the Cameroon National Shippers' Council, Mr. Auguste Mbappe Penda. His words of congratulation were accompanied by a call for seriousness and selflessness in the discharge of their new responsibilities.

 

 

The Regional Delegate for Labour and Social Security was represented at the ceremony by Mrs. Adèle Massem, labour inspector at the regional delegation, who reminded the newly elected officials of their duties towards colleagues and the establishment in which they work. She also praised the CNSC for its consistent collaboration with the Ministry of Labour in the management of its staff.

 

 

Words of encouragement accompanied with handshakes marked the end of the ceremony, highly attended by the entire CNSC staff body. For the newly installed team of 10 full and substitute staff representatives, this marks the beginning of a mandate that will run through to November 2025.
