A delegation from the Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC) has been in Istanbul, Turkey, since 10 October 2023 to take part in the 4th Turkey-Africa Business and Economic Forum (TABEF) organised under the theme " Addressing Challenges, Unlocking Opportunities: Building Stronger Türkiye-Africa Economic Partnerships”.
The delegation headed by Mr. Nolga Fernand Douglas, CNSC Director of Trade Facilitation and Transport Observatory, also includes Mr. Njoh Aurélien, Deputy Director of Infrastructure, and Mr. Menounga Jean Marie, Head of the Contracts Department.
TABEF is a biennial event jointly organised by the Turkish Ministry of Trade, the Turkish Council for Foreign Economic Relations and the African Union Commission since 2016. It is a trade and investment promotion forum regularly attended by Cameroon.
This year's edition, attended by several other African countries, is being held under the theme "Unlocking Opportunities and Building Stronger Economic Partnerships". It is an opportunity for public and private sector stakeholders from Africa and Turkey to examine a series of recommendations aimed at strengthening the private sector's commitment to inclusive growth and development.
