Today, 23 December 2023, was marked by the traditional Christmas tree party organised by the Douala Maritime Museum. The event saw more than 130 kids between the ages of 2 and 15 receiving gifts from Father Christmas in a particularly colourful and lively atmosphere.

The activities of the day included a tour of the Museum, games, clown shows, a movie for kids and a family meal. The event was presided by Mr. Théodore Dippah Kayesse, Head of CNSC's Public Relations Unit, and personal representative of the General Manager, Mr. Auguste Mbappe Penda.

The joy that filled the air could be seen on the faces of all the kids present, a clear indication of "a job well done" for the Douala Maritime Museum, which seeks to promote the spirit of Love, Peace and Sharing during this end-of-year festive period. Hoping to once again put smiles on the faces of many children, a second Christmas tree party is planned for 30 December.
