Some one hundred entrepreneurs from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) of the textiles, cosmetics and agri-food sectors took part in the Level Up Your Business workshop organised by the Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC) today, Tuesday 25 February 2025 in Douala. The workshop which had as theme “Digitalisation: a key lever for SME competitiveness”, held under the technical coordination of Mrs. Claire Onana Takouchop, Director for Shippers’ Assistance at the CNSC.
In contribution to the different presentations delivered during the workshop, Miss Laeticia Minsize, CNSC Service Head for Export Assistance, delivered a presentation on digital platforms as a gateway to trade fairs and funding.
The second presentation was done by Miss Natacha Noungoua, Deputy Service Head for International Cooperation, and focused on the importance of developing digital presence: the key to success for SMEs in a connected world. To conclude, Mr. Hamadou Boubakari from Ecobank outlined the steps to access Ecobank's Single Market Trade Hub platform.
Today's session was marked by the presence of some physically challenged persons amongst whom Mrs. Marie Joje from "Association pour le développement des handicapés (ADAHCAM)" and Mrs. Michelle Lotin from "Association des femmes handicapées d'Edea". Participants of the workshop were all visibly satisfied and praised the CNSC for this initiative.
