On 15 April 2025, the General Manager of the Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC), Mr. Auguste Mbappe Penda, granted an audience to the President of the University of Toulouse Capitole in France, Prof. Hugues Kenfack, who was accompanied by Prof. Henri Modi Koko Bebey, Secretary General at the University of Douala.
Discussions at the meeting centered on the drafting of a tripartite partnership agreement between the CNSC, the University of Douala and the University of Toulouse Capitole, the aim being to offer Master's-level students a professional training course in domestic transport, international transport and logistics.
The envisaged partnership takes into account factors such as executive learning, distance learning and the mobility of both lecturers and students. To this end, Mr. Auguste Mbappe Penda reassured his guests of CNSC's ability to provide students with the practical skills they need to enter the job market.
With the intention to kick-start the training course at the beginning of the 2025-2026 academic year, the partnership agreement between the CNSC, the University of Douala and the University of Toulouse is expected to be signed in June 2025.
