The Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC) is organising an international symposium on "The challenges of maritime insurance in African countries" from 21 to 23 June 2023 in the coastal city of Kribi. The event will feature a dozen national and international experts, specialising in transport law and maritime insurance.
Ahead of this event, Professor Martin Ndende, one of the key speakers, visited the CNSC head office today 15 June 2023. Currently serving as the Director of the Maritime and Oceanic Law Centre, Professor Ndende took advantage of this visit to share his experience with some legal minds and senior staff of the CNSC.
Their discussions essentially revolved around maritime insurance, the blue economy and the import-export of carbon-based products within the European Union.
