Cameroon's delegation to the 4th International Conference on the Blue Economy holding in Banjul, Republic of the Gambia, from 19 to 21 February 2025, is being led by the Minister of Transport, Mr. Jean Ernest Massena Ngalle Bibehe.
Alongside the Port Authority of Douala (PAD), Port Authority of Kribi (PAK) and the National Ports Authority (NPA), the Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC) is represented by Mrs. Armelle Makasso, Sub-Director for Shippers' Assistance, and Mr. Thierry Mebara, Service Head for International Cooperation.
The Blue Economy is a platform for sharing experiences and strengthening cooperation between stakeholders. This platform should ultimately enable its members to take full advantage of innovative and sustainable development in a context marked by maritime safety, security and development.
To the great delight of participants, discussions during the meeting dwelled on topics relating to ocean and coastal zone governance, maritime transport and safety, blue technology and innovation.
