The committee tasked with monitoring the MOU between both corporations was commissioned on 9 July 2020
On 9 July 2020, the Douala Maritime Museum plaid host to the commissioning of the Joint Committee charged with monitoring the implementation of the memorandum of understanding between the PAK and the CNSC. The ceremony was co-chaired by Auguste Mbappe Penda, General Manager of the Cameroon National of Shippers’ Council (CNSC) and Patrice Melom, General of the Port Authority of Kribi (PAK). In his opening address, the CNSC General Manager expressed his satisfaction with the materialisation of the CNSC-PAK collaboration platform through the installation of the monitoring committee members. He thanked the committee members who got to work even before their official installation. "This committee’s proposals shall be capital in decision making regarding the entire national and even sub-regional supply chain" he said.
Taking the floor on his part, the PAK General Manager, Patrice Melom, also welcomed the development of the partnership between the two sides and urged committee members to be more committed and determined to significantly improve the results achieved under the partnership.
The CNSC–PAK MOU monitoring committee is under the co-chairmanship of Mama Awoumou Michael Wilfried, PAK Operations Manager and Onana Epse Takouchop Claire Diana, CNSC Director for Assistance to Shippers. The young and dynamic team shall be assisted by Endale Dipita Lydie Dana and Nguele Martial Thierry for PAK and Armelle Makasso and Jean Jacques Nkolo for the CNSC.
