CAMEROON NATIONAL
SHIPPERS' COUNCIL

A delegation from Cameroon, comprising representatives from the Ministry of Transport, the National Ports Authority and the Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC), is in Canada for the Quebec maritime sector symposium being held from 12 to 16 May 2025.

The representative of the CNSC at this event, Mr. Philippe Olivier Bob Owono - Head of the institution's Centre Regional Office, seized the occasion to present the missions of the CNSC along with its numerous development projects. These included the construction of cargo warehouses and trucker accommodation centres along Cameroon's conventional transit corridors.

This symposium, organised by the Société de Développement Economique du Saint-Laurent (SODES), provides a platform for collaboration, concerted action and discussion between decision-makers, industrial partners, experts and stakeholders of the maritime sector.
