CAMEROON NATIONAL
SHIPPERS' COUNCIL

Staff of the Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC) who were appointed during the Board meeting of 24 June 2024 were installed into their new positions today, 1 July 2024, by Mr. Auguste Mbappe Penda, CNSC's General Manager.

The new appointees were Miss Paule Hortense Adoube who is now Head of the Internal Audit Unit, Mr. Jean-Marie Menounga serving henceforth as Sub-Director for Finance and Accounting, and Mr. Jean-Louis Emmanuel Ava Ava occupying the post of Sub-Director for Management Control. The formal installation ceremony took place in the training hall of the CNSC head office building in the presence of the Deputy General Manager, Mr. Younous Soungui, as well as a host of directors, sub-directors and service heads.

While congratulating the newly appointed staff and wishing them well in their new responsibilities, Mr. Auguste Mbappe Penda reminded them of the confidence bestowed on them by CNSC's Board of Directors. Given that the other three persons promoted by Resolution No. 10/CA/CNCC of 24 June were absent, their installation has been scheduled for a later date.

Mrs. Mouto Carine, reclassified from a support staff to a supervisory staff during the same board meeting, was also congratulated, encouraged and applauded for her service.

This brief installation ceremony offered an opportunity for the General Manager to reiterate the importance of teamwork, respect for hierarchy and duty consciousness amongst staff.
