On Wednesday, 4 February 2025, the Cameroon National Shippers’ Council (CNSC), under the auspices of its General Manager, Mr. Auguste Mbappe Penda, played an important role in the conduct of the Turkiye-Cameroon trade mission, organised by Turkish Electro Technology in Douala.
The Turkish delegation was led by H.E. Volkan Öskiper, Turkish Ambassador to Cameroon, while that of Cameroon was represented by the Governor of the Littoral Region Mr. Samuel Dieudonné Ivaha Diboua, deputizing for Cameroon’s Trade Minister Luc Magloire Mbarga Atangana.
The main objective of this encounter was to organise B2B meetings between Cameroonian importers and Turkish exporters, particularly in the electricity, electronic and energy solutions sectors.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Auguste Mbappe Penda underscored the important role the CNSC plays in providing assistance to shippers and facilitating import and export operations for business persons. About thirty Cameroonian enterprises are taking part in these discussions hoping to benefit from the expertise of Turkish Electro Technology delegates as well as explore new business opportunities.
