CAMEROON NATIONAL
SHIPPERS' COUNCIL

On Wednesday 29 April 2026, the Director General of Hydrocarbures-Analyses-Contrôle (HYDRAC), Mr. Roger Mbouemboue Njoya, paid a first-contact courtesy visit to the Cameroon National Shippers’ Council (CNSC). HYDRAC's management team was received by Mr. Auguste Mbappe Penda, CNSC's General Manager, assisted by his close collaborators.

The purpose of this courtesy visit, as explained by Roger Mbouembou Njoya, was to introduce HYDRAC’s new management team, appointed on 9 December 2025, “and to explore various avenues for collaboration with the CNSC".

The working session that ensued between the two Managing Directors and their teams provided an opportunity to review common grounds for future collaboration. HYDRAC and the CNSC have pledged to team up for future collaboration. Amongst a number of ideas put forward were: enhancing truck drivers’ skills in defensive driving; supporting SMEs through food quality control; and assisting in aligning Cameroonian products with international standards.

Following the meeting, the General Manager of the CNSC, Mr. Auguste Mbappe Penda, promised to send a technical team in the coming days to visit HYDRAC’s facilities and initiate discussions on the prospective collaboration between the two organisations.
