New version of ECTN issuance application to be launched in 2025
Committed to improving the quality of its ECTN issuance services, the Cameroon National Shippers' Council has developed a new version of the ECTN issuance application to offer better services to shippers.
CNSC's General Manager has signed a release to inform shippers, shipowners, freight forwarders and other business persons that the new application will go operational from 2 January 2025, with an initial pilot phase running from 2 October to 31 December 2024.
Moreover, this new version of the ECTN application will enable users to create their own Import ECTN requests in the system, provided they are the consignor of the goods, and without necessarily having to use the services of a shipping agent. Contracts with all CNSC port agents will expire at the end of 2024.
However, those wishing to become Authorised Agents will be able to do so subject to certain conditions set out in the document below:
