Monday, 15 June 2026, marked the launch of the 10th edition of the Yaoundé International Business, SME and Partnership Fair (PROMOTE), under the theme “Private Enterprises and the Business Environment: What Benchmarks for Addressing National and International Economic Challenges?”
The official opening ceremony, chaired by Trade Minister Luc Magloire Mbarga Atangana, Government’s representative for PROMOTE, brought together several guests, members of government, diplomats, general managers, and international as well as home-based business persons.
The Cameroon National Shippers’ Council will take part alongside more than 1,500 companies to showcase its services and know-how at the fair. The CNSC plans to organize two major activities from its exhibition stand: awareness-raising workshops on various themes and support to local SMEs in the promotion of Made in Cameroon products. To this end, the CNSC has provided an entire stand to some SMEs, enabling them to exhibit their know-how in the processing of local products.
