As a key partner of the SME Promotion Agency (APME), the Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC) took part in the official signing ceremony for the agreement granting approval under the private investment incentive scheme on 25 September 2026 in Yaounde. This projects envisages the construction of a hotel named “KAM PLAZA HOTEL” in the Japoma neighbourhood of Douala.

This agreement signed by the Director-General of the SME Promotion Agency, Mr. Jean Marie Louie Badga and the Chief Executive Officer of KAM PLAZA S.A.S. Group, provides for an investment of approximately 2,811,300.000 CFA francs, generating 82 direct jobs.

Designed to boost the country's local tourism industry and contribute to its economic development, the project was praised in a speech by the General Manager of the CNSC, represented by Mr. Philippe Olivier Bob Owono, CNSC Centre Regional Branch Manager. Officials of KAM PLAZA S.A.A Group were further reassured of the CNSC’s availability to assist in any import or export operations.
