CAMEROON NATIONAL
SHIPPERS' COUNCIL

As part of activities to commemorate Blue November, the month set aside for awareness-raising on male cancers, the Cameroon National Shippers’ Council (CNSC) organised a fitness walk at the Douala Parcours Vita on Sunday, 30 November 2025. The initiative had as objective to draw attention to the importance of prevention and screening for male cancers, particularly prostate cancer.

The activity witnessed the participation of staff of CNSC’s head office and several young volunteers engaged in the fight against this pathology. Similar activities were equally organised by CNSC regional offices in Yaounde, Garoua, Kousseri and Kribi, all in an effort to broaden the scope of the awareness-raising campaign.

This sporting activity followed the awareness-raising campaign held at the Douala Maritime Museum on 28 November 2025, during which participants were educated on the risks, early symptoms, and best practices to prevent these pathologies.
