As part of year-end celebrations for 2025, the Cameroon National Shippers Council (CNSC) organised its customary “Christmas Party at the Douala Maritime Museum” on December 20th. About a hundred kids aged between 3 and 15 years, wearing Santa hats, took part in the various activities in store for them.
It was with great delight that they discovered the museum’s Storm Room and various artefacts on display. In their role as performers, they sang a variety of Christmas songs in both French and English, winning applauds from their audience.
Invited comedians dressed as clowns and Father Christmas kept the children entertained with activities and quiz sessions coordinated by the cultural association “Les Gazelles,” headed by Mrs. Lydienne Bilong. The children were visibly delighted and left the museum with Christmas gifts after a family meal offered by the CNSC.
The ceremony was further enhanced by the presence of Mr. Auguste Mbappe Penda, CNSC’s General Manager, his counterpart from Canal 2 international Mr. Eric Fotso, and other sponsors such as CAMLAIT and La Cuisine de NOUNOU. Singing in unison, they wholeheartedly wished the children a wonderful Christmas celebration.
