CAMEROON NATIONAL
SHIPPERS' COUNCIL

The biannual meeting of Strategic Partners of the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council (CWEIC) Regional Hub for Cameroon–Gabon–Togo–Sierra Leone, kicked off on Thursday, 4 December 2025, at the head office of the Special Council Support Fund for Mutual Assistance (FEICOM) in Yaoundé.

The opening ceremony was presided over by the Honorable Minister of Secondary Education, Professor Pauline Nalova Lyonga, flanked by representatives of the Prime Minister, Head of Government, the Minister Delegate in charge of Cooperation with the Commonwealth (MINDELCOM), the Minister of Decentralization and Local Development (MINDDEVEL), as well as ambassadors from Commonwealth member states accredited to Cameroon.

In his keynote address, the General Manager Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC) who doubles as Chairman of the CWEIC Hub Cameroon–Gabon–Togo–Sierra Leone, Mr. Auguste Mbappe Penda, reiterated the importance of strengthening economic cooperation within this hub. He emphasized the need to make it a genuine platform of opportunities for youth, the promotion of female entrepreneurship and the development of international trade driven by small and medium-sized enterprises.

 

The Regional Director of the Hub, Mr. Etienne Cham Bama, invited strategic partners and participating companies to align themselves with the Commonwealth's 2025–2030 strategic plan in order to optimize their participation in the various networking and investment initiatives offered by the CWEIC network.

The meeting, featuring speeches, panel sessions and thematic presentations focused on promoting trade and investment, ends on 5 December 2025.
