The three-day regional seminar organised in Garoua under the theme “Women and trade: Improving conditions for success in development” came to an end today 12 March 2025.

The last day of the seminar featured three key presentations.

Professor Roukatou Aboubakar, Senior Lecturer and Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management Sciences at the University of Garoua, delivered a presentation on changing the mindset of women, and on inclusive leadership.

The second presentation by Caroline Christiane Megang Nguelayi, National President of Women Up Africa and CEO of Mind Thrust Consulting, encouraged women to create sector-based associations in order to benefit from available funding from partner banks.

The last speaker of the day was Miss. Minsize Laeticia, Service Head for Export Assistance, who enlightened the women on digital marketing and the need to use digital tools to promote and sell their products and services.

Over 200 participants were awarded training certificates, and all returned home visibly satisfied with what they had learned over the three days of the seminar.
