The General Manager of the Cameroon National Shippers’ Council (CNSC), Mr. Auguste Mbappe Penda, was present at the second edition of The Investors’ Dinner, organised by Cameroon’s Investment Promotion Agency (IPA) on 5 December 2025 in Yaounde.
This top-tier event, themed “Increasing Private Sector Contribution to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP)”, was graced by the presence of two senior government officials, namely Mr. Gabriel Mbairobe, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, and Dr. Taïga, Minister of Livestock, Fisheries, and Animal Industries. The business rendezvous was equally attended by many decision-makers drawn from public and private enterprises.
Discussions centred on the investment challenges and opportunities in Cameroon, the import-substitution policies developed within several industries, and the prospects for enhanced collaboration among public and private sector institutions.
The presence of CNSC’s General Manager at this year’s Investors’ Dinner reaffirms the institution’s commitment to support initiatives that seek to improve Cameroon’s logistic competitiveness and to provide constant support to business persons in their import and export operations.
