CAMEROON NATIONAL
SHIPPERS' COUNCIL

The General Manager of the Cameroon National Shippers’ Council (CNSC), Mr. Auguste Mbappe Penda, granted audience to a delegation of businessmen in the electricity and electronics sector today, 3 October 2025.

The delegation, all members of the Turkish Association of Exporters, was led by Mrs. Martin Etonde, Executive Director of Cameroon–Türkiye Business Council (CTBC) and comprised Mr. Burak Basegmezler, Mr. Mehmet Murat Tuncel and Mr. Ugur Adiguzel. They came to seek CNSC’s support for the organisation of a Cameroon-Türkiye trade mission in Cameroon scheduled for February 2026.

It is against this backdrop that the Turkish representatives expressed the wish to be linked up with Cameroonian shippers dealing in household appliances, generators, electricity transmission and distribution solutions, as well as wiring and other electronic equipment.

Their request was approved by CNSC’s General Manager, who went ahead to present major ongoing projects undertaken by his institution, particularly the construction of trucker facilities, an open door to new opportunities for over 4,000 members of the Turkish association.
This audience paves the way for promising cooperation ties between the CNSC and businesses of the Turkish Association of Exporters specializing in the electricity and electronic sectors.
