The Transport Observatory is a decision-making tool put in place by the Cameroon National Shippers' Council (CNSC). It is a monitoring, surveillance and information instrument on the transport of goods throughout the multimodal transport chain.

Led by a monitoring committee comprising all the stakeholders, the Observatory collects information on transport that it synthesises to produce publications (The Economic Outlook) in order to inform the choice of decision-makers and economic operators. Additionally, the Observatory promotes partnerships between the various actors of the transport chain and conducts studies on malpractices in order to ensure the free flow of goods and transport equipment along corridors.
