On 3 August 2023, an awareness-raising session on the importance of respect for hierarchy and professional ethics in the life and growth of a company was organised for staff working at the head office of the Cameroon National Shippers' Council.
Coordinated by Miss Danielle Moukoudi, Sub-Director of Human Resources, the session mainly sought to address certain misconceptions about professional ethics by some staff, and to improve working relations between them. The overall aim being to improve the company's performance.
Relevant notions such as integrity, responsibility, loyalty, fraud and impartiality were discussed and explained during the session.
To guarantee positive learning outcomes, activities such as role-play exercises, PowerPoint presentations and question-and-answer sessions were conducted to ease understanding. These exercises were greatly appreciated by the audience as they expressed the wish to have more of such meetings at the Cameroon National Shippers' Council.
